Their own calendar, on the family's year.
At 13 a teen joins the family account the way an adult does, by email invitation, with a full calendar instead of a kid's list. They see the family calendar, keep their own, and get My Work for the homework, the practice schedule and the job.
The family calendar, plus their own.
A young adult sees the whole family calendar and adds to it, with their own color. Their own calendar holds what is theirs. The Year view shows them the semester the way it shows you the year.
- Invited by email, like an adult
- Their own My Work: four trays for homework, practice, the job
- Daily To Do's with streaks, for the things they mean to do every day

Fifteen and under, with a switch.
The rule, in plain words: through the year they turn 15, everything a teen adds shows on the family calendar. In the year they turn 16, they can mark things private like anyone else.
A parent can allow it sooner
The Family page has a switch per person, "Private events". Turn it on for a 14-year-old you trust with it, and they can mark an event private: the family sees Busy.
The birth year does it
When you invite a 13 to 15 year old you give their birth year. The app knows the year, not the birthday, and the rule lifts on its own.
Nothing is revealed later
Turning the switch off again does not expose what was already private. Only new events follow the rule.
A task, not a nag.
My Work works between family members the same way it works on a team.
Give a task
"Clean out the car before Saturday" lands in their Assigned to me tray. They accept it into Today, This week or Later, or send it back.
You see where it stands
Accepted, sent back or done: the person who gave it can see, without asking.
Their calendar, their schedule
They drag a task onto a day and it becomes a block on their own calendar. Tick either one and both are done.
